Retribution!

Dear MKTG 960 Students,

Thank you for taking the time to inform us of the situation regarding MKTG 960 and Professor Bowman. The feedback you provided was crucial and valuable. We realize that providing such information takes time away from you and your busy schedules. Student feedback is essential for successful resolution of the issues at hand.

Professor Bowman has been removed as the instructor for MKTG 960. Dr. Clint Schertzer has asked Professor Ginger Rothfuss to assume leadership of the class. She will be with you effective immediately. I have worked with Professor Rothfuss on many occasions. She has taught numerous classes for the Williams College of Business. She is at all times professional. She is highly knowledgeable and competent no matter the MKTG subject area she teaches. I am positive she will work very hard to make your remaining time in MKTG 960 valuable and beneficial.

On behalf of Associate Dean Tadepalli, MKTG Department Chairman Dr. Clint Schertzer, and Assistant MBA Director Ann Marie Whelan, we thank you again for your input. Student feedback is highly valued by each one of us. We take your educational experience at Xavier with the utmost seriousness. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you have any other questions or insights.

Sincerely,

Jen Bush

Congrats on getting rid of the DA. What about your test that you just took???

Same question as Megan, what happens with your grades? Do you all have to keep those grades and work from there or is everyone starting over? At least you got rid of the jerk!

Hey, they did something right! I am glad they took a pro-active response. Make sure to request to have all of you previous work reviewed and re-evaluated. It would not be fair to have you GPA effected due to a ineffective professor that they had to remove from the class!

Wow, credit to XU for doing this. I'd love to be the fly on the wall in the office during Clint's "frank discussion" with him.

Not sure what'll happen to our grades - i'm sure everything will be thrown out.

One of my classmates looked up Ginger on ratemyprofessor.com and found her to be a 5/5 star teacher with good comments. This fact makes me very happy.

Additionally, i was REALLY impressed with Jen Bush as she called me to thank me for taking the time to write and tell me about the replacement and then called me again after i returned her message just to reiterate her appreciation. GOOD WORKING by XU on prompt, understanding action.

Oh, and my class has already sent out a whole-class invitation for a happy hour celebration in the pub Tuesday night. Bet your ass i'll be there!
