I feel like a crotchety old man for saying this, but I really don’t like inspirational pop songs. I think they’re beyond cheesy. Perhaps because “I Hope You Dance” by Leann Womack was so horribly overplayed I'm now instantly annoyed when I hear a tune that encourages me to be all I can be. The latest in the stream of these songs- Rascall Flatts’s “My Wish” – I want to gag as soon as it comes on.

I havn't heard "my Wish" yet, I'm sure it will be over played and I will be like you annoyed with it.
Karen, I know that you are being all that you can be *wink*
Yeah, overplayed songs suck. Thank goodness for Napster!
I agree. It is for that reason that Kristin is not allowed to have "Wedding Song" as her unity candle music. I told Mark he wasn't allowed to have it, but his wife really wanted it. I gagged.
I AGREE!
I can't believe Jen hasn't heard that song!
I want to correct that. I have had Q102 on all morning and have now heard it 3 times...
I love the song My Wish. But I also don't listen to the radio that often anymore...when I do it's classic rock. I've been into make my own cds or my fake Ipod. My favorite song on that cd though is Stand. That's how I feel about my life.
When I first got that CD I loved "My Wish", but I am now sick of it because it has been so overplayed.....it happens often.
I'm not aware of that song. Then again, OPB is the most common thing on my radio.
haven't heard of the song. then again, OPB is the only local station I have set in my car.
other note from your previous post, I wake up at 5:30 AM. and I don't really consider that early - it's nice! Then again, we get more hours (ok, like 45 more mins) of daylight this time of year than you do. :) Sun rises at 5:30 nowadays!
glad you had a great weekend. I'm glad mine is over and I can look forward to the next one.
Welcome to my crotchety old man world, Karen!!!
I don't know the song you're talking about, but I know the *style*, and it drives me insane.
i am so excited to hear this song now. oh, man oh man. i gotta turn on the radio more often.
