I am a SUCKER for a good love song. Buddy, I can get all wrapped up in one if it’s got nice lyrics and a catchy tune. I am proud to say, however, that I have NOT ONE of the “The World’s Cheesiest Love Songs” in my possession. My handsome, super-cool husband on the other hand can't say the same thing. More reasons to love him (and publically embarress him)!
Thank God “Die Without You” by PM Dawn didn’t make the list!!!

I don't own any of those songs, I do like some of those songs, and I don't even know all of those songs (no real surprise there).
Which ones does your "handsome, super-cool" (and apparently cheesy) husband have?
I cannot listen to love songs right now. I am all about angry female songs--Carrie Underwoods song about a cheater and messing his car up, Beyonce--irreplaceable.
Great songs!
Dude... how do you NOT have All 4 One 'I Swear'?!?? Or KC & JoJo 'All My Life'?!???? Those are AWESOME songs...
That's all I'm claiming from that list though :)
Dude, I owe 7 of these songs. And the top two, I'm totally not ashamed to say I LOVE them. Air Supply and Chicago!?!?! CLASSICS MY FRIEND! CLASSICS!
When I was in freshman music theory, Mrs. Solomon used Lionel Richie's "Hello" to demonsrate a particular device that composers use. I guess that was her way of being "hip."
The trouble is I can't remember what that device is anymore!
I have to agree with Lisa that these are classics! Yeah the ones in the 80's are pretty cheesy, but still classic. And you can't say that you haven't sung along at one point in your life!
I love cheesy songs!!! The stupid things get stuck in my head though and I will sing them for days at a time :-)
I'm getting on Lisa's bandwagon... how about the Bryan Adams one? I don't know how I would've gotten through a jr high dance without it!
