It's Official....

While I didn’t mention it before, Jim formally accepted the finance position on Monday. All parties are very excited and he’s working with his new and current boss to come up with a transition schedule to officially move over to Finance.

Yesterday he sent me a link to a page of SEC trainings that his new boss suggested he go to. Joy of joys the classes are held M/T or Th/F so that you can spend the whole weekend in the destination city. Jim told me that he wants to join him for the long weekend, which of course, I’m more than happy to do. Looking at the list of cities and hotels there are some pretty cool ones: Disney Resorts in Orlando, Wynn in Las Vegas, something in San Diego, Atlanta, Seattle, San Fran, etc. Best part is that I’d only have to pay for my plane ticket and some food – P&G picks up the hotel tab and all of Jim’s amenities! Love this new job already!!

You gotta list em all so we can help you, er I mean Jim, choose which ones to go to!

From the list you have there, definitely check out the Wynn in Las Vegas. Not only is it the newest casino/hotel there, it's one of the most complex ones ever built I'm told. No expense was spared, Wynn even transplanted a 100yr old Oak Tree to the top of the mountain in the complex I understand.

Other than that, Seattle, San Francisco, and San Diego are all cool places.

San Fran --- prepare to be assaulted by this bastion of liberalism. I guarantee you will see things there you will not see anywhere else. I've got a friend that lives there, and I've been there before. Besides the sex clubs you can walk right into (no, I'm not making this up), you will not find a city more tolerate of fringe or illegal activities. It has to be experienced first hand to be believed :).

I've been to all of the cities they list except for Miami! which i hear can be pretty risque too. HOWEVER, remember who i'm married to... if i could get him to go to a sex club i think i'd died and gone to heaven... uh... i mean i'd wonder where my real husband went! ; ) ha!

Congrats to Jim! I'm so jealous that you get to go on trips! We don't get to go anywhere!
