1 Week Lasik
This morning was my 1 week LASIK follow up. I’m still 20/20 in my R and 15/20 in my L. Doctor was really pleased and said I was doing great! I’m off all prescription eye drops now and have to use rewetting drops every other hour. Not shabby. Old habits die hard though, nearly every night I have to remind myself that I don’t have to take my contacts out…

I want lasik! But I'm too scared! And right now, we're poor! I would probably be the same way though, "Time to take out the contacts"...wait a minute..haha.
I guess it's a little different for me. I didn't need glasses until I sliced my cornea in my left eye, for the second time no less, when I was 21. So I've not had them for even 10 years yet. I've actually only owned 2 pairs my whole life, including the ones on my face now. :)
I've never worn contacts, so I don't know what that's like.
I'm sure eventually I'll spring for the surgery, but I can think of many, many other things I'd rather spend that money on right now. I'll try to wait until more insurance companies cover more of the surgery as well.
