In college my friend and I went to the grocery and bought:
pickles
ice cream
We got soooo many unsolicited comments asking which one of us was pregnant.
But we just wanted to eat the ice cream. We went to the grocery store for the pickles, which were for a school project (we did have several jars of them, though).
Are you saying you're grumpy?
LOL!! So true! My favorite parts are the "To Kill You" bubble and that ice cream is the only thing that both have in common. :)
And my favorite baby names are...JK....
I'm just looking forward to hearing the sex of the kid! Are you going to reveal a name at that point too?
This is funny because the other night my SIL was talking about how she really wants to eat pickles all the time.
On the pickles & ice cream...I used to eat pickles immediately followed by ice cream all the time when I was a kid. Now I eat cheese immediately followed by ice cream.
I also like the "To kill you" thing. :-)

I find this extremely funny. I also think the massage and nap bubbles need to be larger. I also think I would not be content to pat a belly condescendingly....I would much rather slap the stranger that came up and touched me. I could hardly tolerate the people I liked, much less the strangers in the grocery store, target, etc. who felt like they could come up and touch me. Apparantly, I didn't get out enough when I was pregnant. :)

i'm touchy feely so it doesn't bother me at all. That's definitely a personality trait of Nicole's too as she's forever hugging and kissing other kids.
Oh, and for the record, no, Lisa, i haven't yet assigned you a speed dial. though E is available!
I have a friend who grabbed the crotch of people who touched her pregnant belly. when they looked at her bewildered and disgusted she just asked them how they thought touching her was acceptable if it couldn't be reciprocated.
I think pickles and mayonnaise sounds tempting.
Kathy, that's hysterical. I think touching a complete stranger is horribly rude. So I, like Jaime would slap people.
Kathy - that is so something I'd expect Brianne to do (except I know she hasn't had kids yet).
I did unsolicitedly tickle Tommy when he was in the womb. To be fair, though, I was tickling HIM, not his mother. ;) Kidding, although I obviously still maintain that as the rationale.
Plus, it meant that I could tickle, and therefore torment, my own sister. Just sisterly love, no offense, Amy!!! :D
I stopped the unsolicited touching after my first nephew.
Amy, thankfully, did not attempt to slug me.
I can't imagine touching a stranger, an acquaintance, or even a close friend or some family members!! Then again, I'm not as touchy feely as many people. And when I am, I want hugs, not tickling.
I have never minded when people I know would touch my stomach...I actually thought it was neat. That said...when complete strangers would come up and start feeling my stomach without asking...that was just wrong. I even heard a mom tell her child to come feel my belly. People are crazy. Karen, good luck carrying this little one and watch out for the crazies :D

I actually did rub the stomach of someone who wasn't pregnant when they just reached out and rubbed mine. They looked at me like I was crazy...and then realized why I did it. It was a co-worker that I don't know really well.
And the crotch thing is just HILARIOUS!
