Jim was mean today and made me help him clean out a closet (which, I'll admit looks much better thanks to his efforts). One of my tasks was to go through some boxes of old stuff, one of which contained a whole photo album covering my senior year of HS. The epicture above was from Christmas Dance (I think?), December 1996.
How many of these folks do you know/still see?? I'm happy to report that though this picture was taken 10 years ago, I have spoken to 6 of the 10 people (including myself) within the last two months. Kathy, Angie and Joe have been off the radar for over a year, unfortunately, and 1 person, Kathy's date, I don't remember.
I think it is also kind of funny that though this picture was taken while I was at McAuley, many of my college friends can probably identify several of these people too! In fact, an interesting count would be how many of my college friends have crushed on/dated one (or more?) of these HS friends...ha!

I guess I've spoken recently with Joe (not in the last 2 months; I keep up more with his fiance), Jen, Karen, Angie, Kathy (obviously).
Isn't is amazing how many college/HS friends meet? Karen, you randomly with Nikki R. via little Jon; Joe randomly hung out in med school with my UK friend Jeff. My UK friend, Nikki W., married an ex of Susannah's (was set up by Kathy).

I think the "other guy" in the pic is jason bennett....he worked at surf cincinnati one summer, and did in fact attend northwest h.s.

Wow, I know 7 out of these 10 people! Then again, several of them went to college with me! Still, it is funny.
I recognize 8 of the 10. I couldn't tell you which twin is which...taking a guess, I'd say Martha is on the right.
It's nice that you still keep in touch. I talk to 5 people that I went to high school with, and I can't say any of us are great friends any more.

I have a picture with just the group of us girls from this ame dance up most of the time in my house. It is in a box right now, but should reappear in my future dwelling. :)

his name was Jason Bennett... good guy, my wife Renee dated him for a little while in high school. he switched teams a few years back, not too surprising for any of us.

Jeeze you sure are popular Karen. It just goes to show that even though some of us didn't go to H.S with you (or any of these people) how you immersed us in your life every way possible. Strange how that works. :-D

Fun picture! I can't say I've talked to many HS friends in the last year, much less the last month or so.

So is that the left as looking at the picture, orleft as we were standing? Lisa was right, I am on the right (as looking at the pic). Kathy's the left book-end. My hair is longer now, closer to Kathy's from that pic.
