Cincinnati native trying to juggle two kids, a successful marriage, a full time project management job and a part time teaching gig. Fortunately I love every component of my crazy life!
OH my gosh! that is so cute! i love her excitement in her own horsey chair! with my lack of cable and minimal time available to watch tv, i haven't been able to catch the horse competitions....i'm glad she's enjoying them!
I don't think I ever had fish last longer than 4 weeks. 4 days may have even been a record for most. (and those fish were WITH proper feeding and watering (hahaha!).) How devestating to have so many pets die! A pony is much better. Wouldn't want to traumatize poor sweet innocent darling Nicole with a bunch of dead fish, would you??? The pony? Why, you have a lovely "meadow" back yard, right? :) :) :) Plus, a pony can help with the "mowing" and "fertilizing". Much more sustainable than a couple of stupid fish.
I would totally rather have a pony, and I was going to suggest the same thing as Martha....maybe you could also dig under the deck behind the house to create a stable for it!

I wonder if Nicole thinks she is in the race :)
She's just so darn cute. Perhaps Jim should buy her a pony. How can you deny her after watching that??
*grin*
a pony!?! where would we keep this new pet? she doesn't even have a gold fish yet!
Maybe you should wait until she can talk and ask her if she wants a pony--she may just want a goldfish, or a puppy ;)
