There are a lot of things that I know aren’t “great” but I really like anyway. One of said things is Carrie Underwood’s new song “All-American Girl”. It’s about the epitome of country and it’s really not that good of a song (even the video is bad!). For some reason though every time it’s on I smile and I downloaded it to my work playlist yesterday.
Side music note – did you hear New Kids on the Block are reuniting??

As for that song, I don't know it (no surprise there, huh?). However yesterday I had a strange urge to listen to country music. I realized I don't know any of the songs anymore as I haven't listened to it in years. But boy they still fill in some of the stuff from 10+ years ago!
Wow - I have to dig out my NKOTB tape, and my white with neon pink sweatshirt. I wonder if I can find my old hi-tops to go with them. :-)

I like Country Music (there, I said it), it so comforting when writing on the damn thesis. I clicked on C. Underwood's Halloween commercial and nearly freaked out. I'm such a chicken.

I can't wait for a NKOTB tour! I only saw them once back in the day. Now that I'm older (and able to spend my money on whatever I want), I plan on seeing at least 1 reunion concert.

So I finally watched the U-tube video--that is horrid!
I heard that song for the first time on Friday (I've been on a country kick this week). You weren't kidding. I think it is an absolutely stupid song and need not exist. a waste of someone's talents to have even been written (seriously, a 3rd grader can probably write better words than that).
