All the things I "should" do...

There are so many things I "should" be doing.... Here's my progress to date:

Why aren't you flossing? I have these cute individual flossers that I use.

On Flossing - my dentist (out here! so it took me 28 years to hear it) told me that flossing even just 3 days a week can give marked benefits (but that 3 days is the minimum to strive for). I was happy to hear that as I'm bad about it, and 3 days seems much more attainable for me, too. Others had told me every day was the only way. And ironically? Since I've started striving for 3 days I actually do it more like 5 days!
You should be getting more like 10 servings of fruits and veggies - 5 of each! Yea, that can be a lot. I was thinking about that just yesterday - I get about 5 servings of them combined. (the good news is just like a 'serving' of meat is smaller than we'd think, and we end up eating more than one at a sitting, the same goes for fruits and veggies, too)
As long as these are noted works in progress, your doing well - can't expect you to suddenly accomplish all immediately!! :) At least you're making the conscious effort! Much better than others can say about themselves. And good luck with the exercising one...maybe once spring hits and it's warmer and lighter you can start walks around the neighborhood with Nicole and Jim. Seriously, even just 2 miles a day will help, as long as you're going at a decent pace (no Sunday Strolls!!). that way it'll feel like family bonding, getting fresh air time and not exercise. :) Great job!

Add eat 5 servings of meat daily to your list and I'm almost sold on it!

I get to flossing about twice a week. Jen - while I think those individual flossers are cute, do you throw the things away every time? I thought about doing those, but don't want to throw that much stuff away.

I only get in about 1 serving of fruit a day (my apple) but I think I make up for it with my 8 or so daily servings of veggies...

I use the individual flossers for about a week, then toss them, Viki. I find them easier then regular floss with my tight back teeth.

Ok, if you can use them for a week, then that's good - maybe I will end up picking some up...that's like going to Wendys and telling them you don't need a spoon for your Frosty because you have a ton at home. :-)
