September Kid Update

Nicole has picked up a few things lately that I've noticed. I think it's very cool when she understands concepts versus things. For example, she says we "better" do this or that she "only" needs that. She's also using more prepositions which is sometimes funny to hear her be so specific about what she wants.

Nic can count to 15 but inevitably the number after fifteen is "thirty-teen".

Contrary to her cousin Ryann who has an amazing head of hair, at 27 months Nicole can finally manage to have pigtails put in. She was quite happy with them and wore them about 3X to school since.

The kids took their first bath together the other night. It was a success except for the quick education not to pull on Chris's "boy parts". Her response was basically "if I can't he can't" which came out "Then Chris no touch girl parts". Sounded like a fair deal to me.

I went to a jewelry part last night. A friend of ours who had a baby 14 months ago asked how big Chris was and was in awe to hear the answer. "Carrin at her year check-up was only 17 pounds and he's over 14 pounds at 2 1/2 months?!" yeah... big babies....

Chris slept in his own bed all night last night and only got up to eat once! New trend, new trend, new trend...
